My client a leading local consultancy now require an experienced Senior Structural Engineer to join their team in the sunny Hawkes Bay!

With a wealth of experience honed over many decades, they work with a diverse range of clients across the Commercial, Industrial, Educational and Residential markets they have a unique opportunity for an experienced Senior Structural Engineer.
Due to continued demand for their specialist services they now require an experienced Structural Engineer to join the leadership team within the practice. With a focus on high quality, cost effective designs and a large number of repeat clients you will be joining a stable practice with strong prospects for continued growth.
You will be an experienced Structural Engineer, comfortable leading Junior Engineers but keen to remain hands on and lead by example. Along with developed technical skills, you will need equally strong soft skills and be commercial astute and comfortable running project financial. Projects are varied and small to medium size in scale with a solid forward work load with a number of projects ramping up post lock down.
Your Skills:
BE Civil, Structural or similar
CPEng – Structural with ENZ
10 years + professional consultancy experience
Experience in report writing, proposal writing and pricing projects
Developed working knowledge of NZ building codes and construction
Client facing with a customer focus, good communication skills and a collaborative leadership approach
NZ Citizen, Permanent Resident or with a valid NZ Work Visa
NZ Drivers licence
Currently in the country or with imminent arrival
