Job Description Join our Fast-Growing Team at Zero Fire in this key role as a Senior Sprinkler Designer and utilise your experience in fire system design. You will produce fire design drawings at tender stage, including sprinkler systems, fire hydrant systems and fire alarm systems in the most with CAD. No two days will be the same in this variety packed role, and you will get the opportunity to further your career beyond expectations! Key responsibilities will include: Reviewing tender documents prior to commencing design. Carrying out hydraulic calculations for sprinkler design. Completing design parameters, including NZFS approval. Ensuring limited variances in the design between proposed design and as built drawings. Visiting sites to ensure the design is as accurate as possible. Communicating with fitters as necessary to ensure design is practical for installation requirements. Attending site services meetings. Qualifications This role will cover work in the Waikato and Bay of Plenty and we are looking for an experienced AutoCAD operator and Microsoft Office user, with skills in Revit and AutoCAD 3D. You have a strong technical aptitude, exceptional customer service skills, you're a motivated team player with excellent communication skills and attention to detail. Ideally you will have fire protection experience; your attitude and work ethic are key. You will possess a full driver's licence and the right to live and work in New Zealand.
