Join us in shaping Aotearoa's digital landscape for future generations Tuatahi's journey has been marked by an unwavering commitment to building a better, brighter and more connected Aotearoa. As a leader in Aotearoa's ultrafast broadband revolution, our role is to meticulously plan and install a sprawling network of fibre optic cables across our country. This network, extending over 6,000 km, is not just a collection of cables but a lifeline that connects households and businesses directly to the internet. We operate as a wholesale entity, partnering with retail service providers (RSPs) and mobile network operators (MNOs), who in turn offer a diverse range of plans and services to customers using our robust network. This collaboration has enabled us to reach over 249,000 households and businesses across regions including Waikato, Bay of Plenty, Hawke's Bay,Manawatu-Whanganui, Taranaki, and Auckland. As we continue to extend our network, we are looking for more innovative individuals to join us on our journey. Become part of a business that's not only connecting the present, but also lighting the path for a digitally empowered tomorrow. Why Tuatahi is the place for you At Tuatahi, we're not just about cutting-edge technology; we're about people too. We offer some great benefits that truly make a difference in our employees' lives. Medical and life Insurance cover. Utilities rebate to help cover costs of utilities, such as power and fibre, in your home. $500 refer a friend bonus. One day per year to give back to your community and volunteer for a registered charity. One wellbeing leave day every six months to catch up on life admin or do something you enjoy. Parental leave benefits including topping up to 100% of your salary when on parental leave. The role As a member of the Architecture and Strategy team, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that Tuatahi First Fibre stays in first place. We believe that architecture is the art of continually improving value flow through technology. You will be responsible for designing innovative, scalable, and robust solutions just in time that delight our customers. You comfortably strike a balance between emergent and intentional design to ensure the realization of business value. You work closely with our cross functional teams and across our business effectively addressing constraints within the business and its solution landscape. You will be a motivated initiative driver and a strong collaborator, with a natural focus on quality and high-value outcomes. Your unique contribution Your in-depth knowledge and experience of Solution Architecture within an agile software development environment will see you as a trusted advisor that enables autonomy and encourages mastery within our teams. You will also need to be: A strong communicator - able to translate stakeholder requirements into clear and actionable user stories. Inherently curious, wanting to grow and evolve your own solution architecture knowledge, by staying updated on industry trends, emerging technologies, and ways of working to create flow. Quality conscious - ensuring that solutions meet the requirements of today, but with a view on tomorrow. A confident and timely decision maker - able to support the teams when and where they need it by making data-driven decisions. A critical thinker - understanding the process of exploring an issue and then taking focused action.
