The ideal candidate will have a strong background in embedded systems development and programming, with experience in C/C++ and knowledge of hardware-software interface. You will be responsible for designing, developing, and testing embedded software solutions for our products, ensuring they meet performance and quality standards. Additionally, you will collaborate closely with hardware engineers to optimize system performance and troubleshoot any issues that arise during the development process. This role also entails looking after the aviat software assurance practices. You will get an opportunity to develop expertise on other projects, as required and participation in software development project reviews.Skill and experienceMin 5 years of experience in a similar roleGreat C language abilityA solid understanding of good software development practicesKnowledge of one or more microprocessorsKnowledge of networking communications and protocolsKnowledge of the Linux operating systemEmbedded software development skillsWell-developed analysis and design skillsExcellent written documentation through the use of Microsoft Office toolsSkilled in the use of test equipment, protocol analyzers, oscilloscopes, bit error rate testers, logic analyzers, emulators etc.Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.Coaching and Mentoring skills.QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCEBachelors or Masters Degree (Engineering or Computer Science) advanced embedded software engineering experience, preferably in the telecommunications and networking domain.Why Aviat?You will be part of the great team working with some cool technology.
