TheOpportunity We have afantastic opportunity for an experienced Front End Senior Software Engineer to helpdesign and develop the user-facing aspects of our award-winning security productsand features. Reporting to the People Leader, you'll be mentoring, sharing yourtechnical expertise, and helping solve problems with our collaborative andagile development team. A key focus ofthis role will be leading engagement with the UX Team to help define the scopeof work, through processes such as Design Sprints and techniques such as earlyprototypes and / or user story mapping. Additionally, you'll be taking the lead in furnishingFront End Designs to help guide project scope and implementation strategies.
The Fit We're looking for someone whois passionate about knowledge-sharing and is keen to mentor a great team. You'll have at least five years' experiencein commercial development and be comfortable working with multiple programminglanguages and platforms. To succeed in this role you'll also have:
A relevant tertiary qualification.Proficiency in cloud & web skills sets.Proficiency with ReactJS and Redux.Experience with security aspects of UIdevelopment, including OWASP, CORS policy, etc.Experience in version control tools andprocess.Experience using debugging tools relevant tothe product. The experience and ability to track down problems in productsusing these tools.Experience designing and documenting featuresor modules that are a part of a product or project.Experience developing line of businessMobile/web applications.WhyGallagher?
