The Department

AskOtago, the University's Contact Centre is the one-stop shop for all questions related to the University of Otago. You will play a key part in this team, working to assist University students, staff and visitors with their queries and questions regarding life and work at Otago.

AskOtago is expanding its operation, to include a Patient Contact Centre within the new state-of-the-art Dental School.

We are enthusiastic about the AskOtago family and we are committed to building a warm and welcoming environment. As part of this commitment, we are looking for Senior Service Representatives to join our team within the wider University of Otago whanau.

The Role

As a Senior Service Representative within AskOtago, you will be responsible for:

Creating a positive relationship in all customer interactions.
Serving as an escalation point and source of guidance for the Services Representatives.
Providing subject matter expertise.

This is an exciting role for a person who wants to join a busy, complex and challenging environment such as the University of Otago.
Your Skills and Experience

Ideally, you will have:

Previous senior customer service experience.
Experience working in a busy open plan environment.
A strong sense of pride and passion.

This is a full-time, permanent position. Hours of work for this position are 8.30am to 5.00pm, Monday to Friday.
