We have four new roles to add to our Cyber Security team and help deliver a cyber security uplift. We use a number of large complex systems, and consume and generate information on a huge scale. Keeping those digital systems and their data safe is therefore a critical activity.So what will make you successfulWe are looking for pragmatic, logical thinkers with a range of skill sets and backgrounds that will bring new ideas and capability to our team. An ability to navigate through conflict and facilitate conversations that deliver our core objectives of keeping people safe and reducing reoffending is key.Experience with Security toolsets such as Azure and MDAS, risk, audit and assurance focus and a familiarity with the NZISM, GCIO cloud questionnaire and Certification and Accreditation processes are needed.Along with a strong interest in technology and a broad understanding of some of the following:Techniques and controls for securing Windows operating systems,
Networking
Virtualization technologies
Database technologies such Oracle and MS SQL
Firewall and intrusion detection/prevention
Application security and encryption technologies and securing a range of cloud hosted environments and applications
