This means you'll have a wide range of platforms and technologies to learn to secure. It's a challenging, varied, fast-paced work environment, with on-going professional development.As an IT Security Analyst, you will focus onThe ever-changing threats to our servicesMonitoring systems and staff behaviourTriage and analyse IT Security incidentsSpending time involved in specific projects offering advice and helping the delivery of solutionsSupporting and guiding other security analystsTechnical design review of new solutionsHelping to create new training and educational material for staffBuilding strong working relationships across MSD and the IT community including the CISO teamThis is a hands-on technical role working in a 24x7 environment. The role includes an on-call roster.About you You are an IT professional with security experience and enjoy tackling challenging problems to find solutions. You have experience with security monitoring and response, implementing solutions and are familiar with the latest technology and trends in the security environment.
