Your days will involve supporting our policy and regulatory teams, unraveling the impacts of human activities on our natural resources, and crafting effective strategies to ensure a thriving environment for generations to come.
In your new role, you'll harness existing data sources to explore, design, and analyse information on Southland's estuaries and lakes. You'll collaborate with a diverse array of stakeholders, from researchers to landowners, and together, let's shape a sustainable future for our region.
You will have a relevant tertiary qualification, a good understanding of scientific protocols and standards, strong relationship-building and communication skills along with a solid understanding of New Zealand's resource management legislation. You will need to demonstrate project management experience and a proven ability in the use of computers, GIS and modelling packages and analytical methods
In return for your dedication, we offer a competitive remuneration package ranging from $100,000 to $105,000 plus benefits.
