Senior School Teacher Aide

 Behind every great school is a great team of people and we are looking for a dedicated Senior School Teacher Aide (Years 7-13) to start in Term 2, 2024. You will be working with bilingual students who need support across the curriculum due to language needs. This is a permanent role, for 8 hours per week, School Term Only, working within the English Language Department.
Job DescriptionIn this role you will be working alongside our teachers to support, inspire and guide our students who have learning differences. We need a person who is well versed in literacy processes and teaching practices who is a team player with a flexible approach. The ability to build strong, positive relationships with students and colleagues is vital. 
Desired Skills and ExperienceIn addition, our ideal candidate will:
• Have a good knowledge of literacy and teaching approaches to literacy
• An ability to interpret assessment material and teaching resources to ensure positive academic outcomes
• Have strong organisational and time management skills
• Show professional judgement and diplomacy, along with confidentiality.
