This role sits within our Finance Systems Team, who support all users of BNZ Finance Systems and assist with maintenance and development of the systems and, enable efficient delivery of accurate, timely and relevant information and insights to support our business.
We're looking for a Senior SAP Systems Accountant to join us on a 12-month fixed-term contract. We need someone with strong SAP functional experience, as this role is pivotal in supporting project-based activities, ensuring seamless SAP Finance processing for new integrations into our SAP ECC6 environment. This includes:
Setup of detailed test plans for unit and SIT testingPerform unit and SIT testing of integrations into SAPPerform testing of impacted transactions within SAPPerform unit and SIT testing of SAP outbound extractsCollaborate with various stakeholdersAssist with cutover plan and executionWhat attributes will this person display in order to be successful in this role? We need someone to hit the ground running in this role - You'll have a minimum of 5 years' experience supporting finance system, and intermediate to advanced SAP knowledge is essential to this role. Experience within banking/financial services industry would be an advantage. You will bring:
Proven experience in SAP FI/CO moduleStrong problem-solving skills with the ability to work independently and collaborativelyExperience in Unit and SIT testing in SAP including defining test plansExperience in master data and systems change managementYou'll deal with a variety of stakeholders across BNZ, therefore strong relationship and communication skills is essentialThis is a 12-month fixed-term contract and we are ideally looking for someone available to start as soon as possible.
