A large organisation who specialise in SaaS in providing resources to the nation are now urgently seeking a number of Senior Software Engineers to continue to grow their presence and capability within the Auckland market.
**As long as you are already within NZ, we are more than happy that you work from your home but may occasionally need to travel to Auckland for business or stakeholder related project meetings..
The organisation are already a highly secure entity with a large development team throughout the country. Their vision now is to further add substantial growth to the Auckland division.Within these roles you will use your in depth and senior expertise on developing a number of structures for Web Services, Web Pages and Databases alike through your expertise in either Ruby, Java or other based development while having the existing capability to add a Full Stack ‘flair’ using multiple Frameworks and Front End capability.
The skills that will encourage success in your application are:
Full Stack Development – essentially a minimum of 8yrs commercial experience. This should include working within a SaaS type environment. We require applicants to have expertise in CI / CD, Automation and Source Controls.
Languages (very important) – we will consider either high level experience with Ruby OR other languages as long as you have extensively worked with RoR (Ruby on Rails)
Front End – extensive expertise in JavaScript, HTML and CSS.
Frameworks – Ruby on Rails (essential) along with experience on other Frameworks
Other – UI programming, AWS, Agile, Jira.
Visa Status – we are currently prioritising applications from individuals who already hold a valid Work Visa for New Zealand at the time of application.
