Senior Roofer

Registrations of interest are encouraged for a full-time and permanent position available now in the Otago and Southland regions. We are a roofing and cladding company working on some of the most stunning and challenging homes and commercial projects in the South Island.

We are looking for three experienced Sheetmetal Fabricators and installers.
Key tasks and responsibilities include:
Fabricating and installing European style metal roofing, cladding, flashings and rainwater goods, including non-ferrous materialOrganising flashing orders lists for workshop fabricationPositionings parts and subassembliesOperating fabricating machines such as rolls, shears, and folding machineEnsuring all customer interactions are positive, polite, and respectfulConducting all interactions with colleagues and managers in an open and collaborative manner to facilitate the best outcome for all required tasksAttending staff meetings and training as requiredContributing to the implementation of the Safety Management System and of the equipment inventoryTravelling to the projects site, subject to H&S requirementsSupervising junior staffWhat's in it for you?

High levels of craftmanship in the fabrication and installation of metal roofing, cladding, flashings and rainwater goodsA minimum 3 years' relevant experienceExperience with non-ferrous metals like copper, lead, zinc and aluminiumExcellent knowledge of reading and interpreting drawingsAbility to operate a ForkliftHonesty and reliability with solution orientated focusIf this sounds like you, please get in touch today.
