Senior Quantity Surveyor

With a superb reputation in the market, they have an excellent forward work flow.  This client has a number sites and have a more projects coming on line as 2024 progresses. With internal movements, this contractor requires the skills of a senior quantity surveyor to join the Tauranga office. A great opportunity to move away from one of the bigger cities or just time for a change locally.  You will be involved with the whole process of a construction project, talking through with a client to the final accounts stage and handover. Although working under your own steam, you will have the support of a senior staff to assist where needed.  You will be working on projects from $5 to $25+ million, with these projects being a mix of other light commercial, apartments to even some industrial schemes coming up, you will not be bored going forward. With their own developments also on the horizon, you really do have the security you need.  To be a success we are looking for - Related Construction Qualification 5 years experience min (2 yrs min NZ experience) Solid construction contract understanding Ability to process claims and variations  Great communication skills  This opportunity will help transform your career as you will have every opportunity to reach your potential.
