We are seeking a knowledgeable Senior Quality Officer based in Christchurch to join our busy quality team. You will be supporting the Quality Manager in ensuring that we are consistently maintaining the highest level of compliance to our quality standards through the assurance and auditing process.
You will be responsible for ensuring staff and trades are well equipped to understand the process requirements and delivery of residential maintenance standards by Kainga Ora .
Responsibilities include but not limited to:
Support the Quality Manager in the day-to-day operation of the compliance function Auditing and inspections of residential maintenance work in Kainga ora properties Review and deliver reporting and auditing requirements in a timely manner to meet deadlines Build and maintain professional relationships with Kainga Ora staff, subcontractors and internal business units Promote and ensure awareness of quality expectations with trades Requirements Previous Quality experience in residential construction industry or similar Ability to travel when required to locations across the regions Proficient in MS office especially Excel Curious in nature with a passion to find the root cause Able to communicate authentically with our trades, business owners and customers from all backgrounds Proven experience handling compliance escalations from team members, customers and trades.
