We are now providing delivery services to departments, agencies and companies under the Crown, and to local government where relevant to support their one-off infrastructure project and programmes of work.The Project Support Office (PSO) at Rau Paenga plays an essential role in project and programme delivery, and we are growing!Mo tenei turanga mahi | About the RoleBased in Wellington, Auckland, or Christchurch reporting to the Quality and Assurance Manager and part of the wider PSO team, the roles core function will be to lead quality and assurance for the Programme Delivery teams' projects and programmes of work at Rau Paenga. This has additional involvement in Project Benefit Management, including the identification and realisation of project benefitsYour expertise as the Senior Quality & Assurance and Project Specialist will be sought after as you provide quality and assurance advice across various project teams, and within the PSO, supporting them in their pursuit of excellence. Additionally, you'll be instrumental in developing processes to guarantee the quality of content supplied to external Government agencies, underlining our dedication to delivering exceptional results. In parallel, you will aid in enhancing our organisational maturity by supporting the improvement of P3M3 maturity and partnering with teams to implement essential improvement initiatives. You'll have a hands-on role in conducting Quality Assurance reviews of PSO-generated documentation, ensuring the highest quality standards. Your involvement will also extend to assisting towards the management of the Project and Programme benefits including developing frameworks, realisation plans, monitoring, reporting and change impact assessments.Finally, your insights and contributions will be crucial in developing a targeted quality and assurance plan designed to elevate project process maturity. By promoting a culture of quality and assurance within our teams and facilitating internal assurance and reporting, you'll be a driving force behind our commitment to quality.Ko koe tenei | About YouOur ideal Senior Quality & Assurance and Project Specialist will bring experience in an assurance, internal audit, compliance or consulting capacity within a professional service or project management environment. You will bring a commitment contribute to a high performing team, a willingness to take the lead in delivering quality service to the Programme Delivery team. This would most likely suit someone from a professional services organisation, or another public sector organisation involved with programmes and projects, who is looking for more autonomy, breadth, and challenge in their role. You could currently be in a Senior position and looking to grow on your solid QA experience with a focus on benefit management.You will also have:  A Bachelor or a relevant tertiary qualificationA minimum of 5 years of professional experience in an assurance, internal audit, compliance, or consulting role within a professional services or project management environmentExperience or knowledge of programme or project management frameworks (e.g. MSP, PRINCE2 etc.)Sound level of experience in benefits management in the project environmentA broad range of expertise and professional leadership to support the PSO functions including risk management, scheduling, budget and cost management, procurement, and assurance managementKnowledge of maturity assessment frameworks (such as P3M3), ISO standards, benefits management frameworks and business casesExcellent knowledge quality assurance principlesExcellent communication and business/report writing skillsFacilitative, open collaborative working styleAs a Rau Paenga PSO team member, you will be innately collaborative in all that you do.
