What will you do?
As we gear up to our biggest ever build programme we're looking for a Senior Project QS to join our team. This newly created role shows our continued commitment to be innovative and to build strong teams. In this site based role, we are looking for someone that will work closely and collaborate with the construction leadership team, so building trust and working together as one team will be important to you.
In this role, you will provide on-site cost and contractual management to two of our current construction projects. Our projects range from $150m to $300m. You will be managing the commercial cost control of the site, as well as managing sub contractor scope of works.
You will work and collaborate with the wider QS team, Project Managers, Regional Construction managers, Construction Design Team, External consultants, sub contractors and site administration team.
Who are you?
Are a proven senior degree-qualified QS with a minimum of 10 years' experience.
Ideally, you will be trade qualified and ideally with PM or SM level experience.
You will have a very collaborative approach and a partnering mindset.
You will be calm and composed, even during times of pressure, and show determination and perseverance.
You will approach problems with positivity and find a way to get things done.
Will be willing to make timely and well-reasoned decisions and provide clear information and explanations, both verbally and in writing.
Have an enthusiastic 'can do' attitude and are able to fit into a dynamic and proactive team
