Will you join our journey?The Role:Reporting to the Project Delivery Lead, you'll oversee the successful delivery of major hydropower, geothermal and hydrogen projects and manage project portfolios. We offer a strong pipeline of work, a diverse range of projects and the opportunity to be involved with legacy projects. In this role, you'll primarily be responsible for: Providing project management services to domestic and international hydropower and geothermal clients Managing multiple large projects simultaneously Developing collaborative and robust client relationships Measuring and managing project performance and providing comprehensive reporting to clients and internal stakeholders Being involved from project inception and guiding projects along a pathway destined for success Championing project management fundamentals at all times About You:As a well-seasoned engineer and project manager, you'll bring sound technical skills to mentor and support our wider team and positively contribute to the New Zealand energy sector. It is ideal if you can offer hydro or geothermal power experience, mechanical engineering qualifications and/or project management experience from heavy industry environments. Client-centric with a proven ability to build effective relationships you'll have an eye for business development opportunities.It goes without saying that you are proficient in project management fundamentals (PMP), and will also bring: Experience working hand in hand with asset owners and on their sites. A collaborative and inclusive approach to project execution. A cool head when the going gets tough and a solution focussed ethos. Direct, clear communication skills and ability to tailor your approach to the audience. The ability to be two steps ahead of the team at the coal face and the ability to actively remove roadblocks. Experience working with trades people and workshops. Mechanical Engineering qualification is preferred. This role is primarily office based, from our Wairakei site, however with the majority of our projects happening all around us, there are plenty of opportunities to get out on site to liaise with clients and delivery teams.
