We have an opportunity for a Senior Project Manager to join us, and assist in leading civil engineering design, construction, asset and project management services in a wide variety of areas. This role could be based in Waihi, Thames or remotely from the Coromandel. Here's a snapshot of the role ... Lead and oversee civil infrastructure projects from start to finish, including design, client management, and program management Take on various roles such as Project Manager, Contract Manager, Engineer's Representative, Quality Manager, Environmental Manager, Site Safety Manager, and Site Supervisor as needed on projects Ensure a safe and healthy work environment by adhering to standards, procedures, and legal regulations Provide expertise in transportation and general civil design services and asset management, earning recognition from clients for proficiency. Support the achievement of annual Business Plan objectives alongside the General Manager Continuously enhance project management, health and safety, environmental, and quality assurance systems to meet industry and client requirements Assist and guide Project Managers and Cadets through on-the-job training Here's the technical aspect of what we are looking for: Relevant Tertiary Qualification Minimum 10 years' experience in Civil Engineering Strong written and verbal communication skills Proven expertise in Civil Engineering and Project Management Significant experience in transportation and general civil design, including contract management, with a knack for generating innovative and original solutions to complex challenges Demonstrated competence in planning, organizing work schedules, and delivering projects on time Proficiency in Health, Safety, and Environmental practices Independent operation and confident interaction, negotiation, and influence with various internal and external stakeholders Proficiency in MS Office All of our employees benefit from free health insurance, flexible working arrangements, an active social club and 5 weeks leave per year.
