Senior Project Manager

This small yet well run professional project management office have an abundance of new project management assignments. The current Director is running the project management serviecs and needs the assistance of a consultancy senior project manager to both assist in the delivery of several assignments plus look in time to take over as equity shareholder in the business. The firm offers a better level of flexibility and autonomy as you take on several assignments. You may be looking for an alternative and a chance to exit the larger and more politicised project management consultancies. As a project manager you will:
Establish the project through appointing consultants, producing feasibility studies, monitoring all statutory processes and advising on procurement options
Project manage the construction phase, having responsibility for QA/risk, financial reporting, budget management, programming, defects list, remedial works and various project reports
Manage stakeholders and conduct site meetings
As a senior project manager, you will need to come from a construction consultancy/client side background. Most of your 10 years of NZ based experience has been involving working on a range of commercial projects across a broad range of industries. A tertiary qualification in Architecture, Quantity Surveying, Building Surveying, Building Science, or Engineering is essential. Your ability to articulate issues and harness relationships is essential. The expectation is that you will have a natural buisness development skillset and be well networked.

You will be rewarded with a salary between $150K and $170K
