This requires preparing, planning, executing and controlling all aspects of the project either directly or through delegation with the project team. Successful delivery requires monitoring and controlling financials, works schedule, resources (including subcontractors) as well as managing the project stakeholders (internal and external).The projects involve challenging and highly technical, functional and contractual requirements and require a strategic thinker with a proven ability to provide strong team leadership, expert technical knowledge and customer relationship management to achieve project outcomes.This role is the lead the Large Project delivery with reporting responsibility to the Project Director, Global Major Projects and NZ General ManagerKey Accountabilities include;Maintain overall responsibility for the delivery of complex projects to the required quality, schedule and budget Ensures delivery of project is on time, within scope with zero or positive deviation.Manage the contractual requirements of the project to ensure disputes with subcontractors and clients are mitigated or timeously resolved and thereby protecting Honeywell’s entitlement and further reserving our rights under the Head Contract or Subcontract Manage the project contracts including development of subcontracts, vendor scopes of work, valuing/certifying payments, valuing variations, accepting finished works, and resolving and negotiatingDeveloping trust and managing the relationship with customers and ensuring a shared understanding of key issues between all parties is maintained.Honeywell's exposure is minimised and controlled through timely responses and internal escalation.Produce and maintain appropriate project management documentation including project plan, communication plan, project reports, implementation plans, project schedules and meeting agendas/minutes.Drive the project team to minimise the cost of labour in delivering a successful project through effective resource management and low- cost resources while minimising defects and rework.Business growth - Identify and pursue in conjunction with the account manager any further business opportunities with the customer.Honeywell offers an inclusive, flexible and supportive culture, with merit based pay for performance, along with ongoing training and development opportunities for those that have the desire to succeed.We work hard to make the world a better place.
