With a commitment to delivering world-class facilities and enhancing community experiences, they are seeking a visionary senior leader to drive key construction projects forward. The intensification and growth of their network and portfolio remains a key strategic initiative, enabling them to provide greater levels of project efficiency and communication by being closer to their customers, and in turn delivering unrivalled options for their client base. As a Senior Project Manager/Construction Manager overseeing large-scale projects, you serve as the linchpin, orchestrating every facet of the project from inception to completion - embracing the project's objectives as your own, driving forward with unwavering commitment, and shouldering the responsibility for every decision, outcome, and challenge that arises along the way. Inspiring trust and confidence among stakeholders will foster a culture of excellence and achievement. The role: Lead and manage large-scale construction projects, drawing on the client's rich expertise and innovation solutions to ensure adherence to budget, schedule, and quality standards. Collaborate with a diverse array of stakeholders, harnessing the client's extensive network and industry relationships to foster collaboration and drive project success. Provide strategic guidance and oversight throughout the project lifecycle, from planning and design to procurement and execution. Identify and mitigate risks, solve complex challenges, and drive continuous improvement initiatives. Identify and implement innovative solutions utilising the client's robust risk management frameworks. Foster a culture of safety, excellence, and collaboration among project team members. In order to be successful in this role, you will likely have the following skills and attributes: Relevant tertiary degree in engineering, construction management, or related field. 10+ years of experience and a proven track record of successfully managing complex construction projects from inception to handover, projects ideally $100m+. Able to demonstrate previous project management experience in NZ (and overseas), ideally from a client side or main contractor environment. Extensive stakeholder management experience. Competent in negotiation and client relationship management. Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire multidisciplinary teams. Excellent attention to detail and accuracy, with immense knowledge around delivering projects and managing risk. Highly organised with the ability to multi-task and prioritise deadlines. This exciting new role affords the opportunity to progress your career in project management by delivering world class assets for one of the largest businesses in the Country. On offer is an invigorating project pipeline, working with an intelligent and high-profile team, with very strong financial support for the future. A competitive salary with benefits available.
