Actively manage key technology projects to ensure quality resultsFixed term opportunities through to April and December 2025Auckland and WellingtonThe National Ticketing Programme is a significant programme of work in partnership with NZTA and Public Transport Authorities (PTAs) throughout New Zealand to develop one common payments platform and service for all public transport in the country.This aims to transform the way New Zealanders travel on public transport, on any mode, anywhere in the country, using card or smart devices, consolidated into one easy payment system. It is a critical part of achieving New Zealand ambitions for a safer, more sustainable land transport system.We are looking for Senior Project Managers with experience working on large programmes of work, with a track record of delivering successful projects and who demonstrate excellent project management and stakeholder management skills.You will actively manage larger, complex, technology projects to ensure that agreed scope is delivered on schedule, to budget and to the required quality. You will have experience in building business cases, be able to conduct independent quality analysis and ensure quality and governance standards are being adhered to throughout the project lifecycle.To be successful in this role, you will bring:Proven track record/experience delivering successful projectsfor a number of yearsStrong Project Management reporting and communicationsLeadership and relationship experience in a complex business and technology environmentProven experience in leading, influencing and building credibility across a range of stakeholdersKnowledge and experience in the use of multiple project delivery methodologiesand frameworksYou will demonstrate knowledge of, or a willingness to gain an understanding of Te Ao Maori and promote tikanga and Te Reo Maori.
