Our client is a well-established and market leading civil contractor, they are looking for an experienced and dedicated Senior Project Engineer to join their growing business.
Our client provides their services across a number of industry sectors such as building construction, industrial, mining and resources, transport infrastructure, environmental etc. and you will be responsible for contributing to the successful delivery of a number of challenging projects.
Types of projects include build earthworks, demolition, excavation, retention, piling, foundations, ground improvement, soft and hard landscaping, site remediation and rehabilitation etc. Typical values from $2.5 to $25m but can go up to $50m+.
This role is for a potential project which will be based on site in the Fraser Coast area, the candidate will either live locally or DIDO (drive in, drive out) on a roster.
Candidate must have TMR and bulk earthworks experience.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to: Working on tendersPlanning and scheduling of construction activitiesManagement of site project teamsQuality Assurance, Cost and Time ManagementPreparation of management reportsResolving site issues in a timely mannerLiaising with key clients and stakeholdersCoordinating internal and external resourcesBusiness developmentRecruitment and mentoring of teamsQualifications and Requirements: Tertiary Qualification in Civil Engineering or similar5– 10+ years' experience on civil projects, must have bulk earthworks experienceMust have experience working with Department of Transport & Main Roads (TMR)Project management qualifications will be advantageousProven understanding of construction with a hands-on approachProven ability to effectively lead and delegateEffective problem solving abilitiesAbility to resolve conflict and manage client expectationsHigh level of organisation and time management skillsExcellent verbal and written communication skillsIf you have the skills and experience that we are looking for, click on "Apply" to submit your resume.
