Details of the offer

Senior Product Manager – Worldline Contactless Why we need you. Worldline NZ has long been a leader in local payments since we launched EFTPOS in 1989 (you might recognise us as Paymark). We've been an important part of New Zealand's growth as an economy, providing a trusted service for almost every Kiwi consumer. Today we sit at the heart of Aotearoa's payments infrastructure with products being built using open banking technology and providing retailers with easy access to data about their own customers' habits. Our platform lets tech start-ups and banking giants come together to provide better service to businesses and consumers. As New Zealand's leading payments innovator, we specialise in payment solutions, that help businesses grow – in-store, online and via mobile. We provide digital payments solutions for New Zealand businesses who need safe and secure payments, in turn giving Kiwi shoppers seamless payment options. To support our next step in payments innovation, we're looking for a switched on and savvy Senior Product Manager to join our Worldline (WL) Contactless Products team. The scope of this role includes building new innovative products alongside technology teams, industry engagement, roadmap management, business model development, go-to-market execution, competitor analysis, operating processes, business case development and strategy. You'll also be contributing to our shared product portfolio vision across the online and instore products. As you can see this is a critical role for us as a business! What you are going to be doing: ·Drive the success of our Worldline Contactless product – you'll ensure that our product is delivering the right services to customers and are meeting our strategic and financial targets. To be successful, you'll work with the wider products team to develop the overall strategy for our digital offerings, ensuring these align with our wider company strategies and objectives. ·Lead with Commercial thinking: It's not enough to have a vision, you must have the ability to drive ideas and make it a reality and do so in a team environment that brings the business with you. You will be focused on positioning our products for growth and executing the plan to achieve it. ·Work collaboratively as a member of the Product and Technology team to bring our product strategy, planning and implementation together. ·Get our products out the door – you'll be the key to getting our new WL Contactless product features and/or products into market, driving product plans and business cases. When a customer-driven opportunity arises, you will be supporting the sales team to "close the deal". At the same time, you will own the development of the appropriate business case, pricing committee papers, and product development plan to support the implementation and delivery of the new product or business model. ·Champion the payments innovation backlog – working with a Product Analyst, you will own, develop and prioritise the payments innovation backlog. Your product requirements will be based on informed market and industry research that you will gather both independently and with other internal and external stakeholders. You'll critically evaluate this information, to make decisions that deliver benefit to our customers and our business. ·Build key relationships and identify opportunities – you will be out there on the front lines building the key relationships with customers, strategic partners and suppliers to enable the business to build and sell our products. What we need you to be good at: ·The ability to communicate the product strategy and future direction: The success or failure of this role is about communication. You will be required to spend most of your time preparing and executing communication of plans to internal and external stakeholders. ·We need you to be able to be the visionary for our digital products. That means you can easily switch from the detail of the product backlog to the big picture of what we're trying to achieve and ensure all these pieces fit together and complement each other. ·We also need you to be the biggest and loudest champion of our payments innovation products. That means that you're easily able to bring anyone from our leadership team to a kiwi business owner on the journey of what we're trying to achieve and why it's so important. Do you qualify? ·Proven experience as a Senior Product Manager (mandatory) ·Experience and knowledge of product management principles and tools (mandatory) ·A proven track record of driving product innovation and feature delivery (mandatory) ·Software product development and Agile methodologies experience (mandatory) ·Requires a proactive approach and growth mindset (mandatory) ·Prior roles in financial services (preferred) ·Tertiary degree, preferably business (preferable) ·High proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, JIRA (mandatory) ·A sense of humour (mandatory). Why join us?! We realise what's important to you and someone else can differ, so we offer a range of benefits to appeal to everyone, you included! -A beautiful new purpose-built office in the heart of Auckland CBD – Harbour Views, Bar, Café and Gym Onsite and Top-notch technology (need we say more?!) -Our employee benefits package – what we call 'Pick n Mix' to spend on whatever tickles your fancy -A generous bonus scheme -A day off on your birthday -A comprehensive culture & wellbeing program with an annual calendar of fantastic events -Time out for an on-site subsidized massage -AKiwi Saversuperannuation contribution and much more!
