We’ve done great things already, join us and help us do even more.About the RoleYou’ll be responsible for driving alignment between Group Procurement and various business units in Vector, within assigned categories. You’ll develop collaborative relationships with your peers to identify opportunities for sourcing and securing value for money strategic relationships with Vector’s high value suppliers. Manage the end to end lifecycle for each strategic supplier within your category from contract creation/ variation through ongoing vendor governance and risk management. Create value procurement through active engagement with internal stakeholders and suppliers using best practice procurement methodologies.Who are we looking forBring with you your extensive previous experience in procurement and ideally a CIPS qualification. Apply your knowledge of managing the commercial and contractual aspects of supply relationships either from sourcing or sales side. You’ll have demonstrated experience of running complex RFX/tender processes and contract negotiations for significant supply relationships ($5 m + p.a range). Put into play your skills in delivering business benefits through the RFX/tender and negotiation and working to or managing and monitoring service levels. You’re an adept negotiator with the ability to draft contracts and service levels, and have a sound understanding of risk management process & the impact upon sourcing, the RFX and negotiation process.
