We're looking for an experienced Process Engineer to join our Ravensdown Dunedin Works team as a Senior Process Engineer.
About the Company & Site: Ravensdown is a farmer owned co-operative within the agricultural sector. We exist to help our farmers optimise soil fertility and productivity to run their businesses in a profitable and sustainable way with a focus on lowering environmental impact. Beyond fertiliser, we provide nutrient management services, technical advice and essential farm inputs delivered how, where and when they are needed by our customers.
Our Dunedin site undertakes a variety of chemical processes including the production of sulphuric acid, the manufacture of superphosphate fertiliser, and the operation of a waste heat boiler to raise steam for the generation of electricity.
About the Role You will be working onsite with our operators providing advice and solutions for immediate processing problems and providing technical and chemical engineering support.
You'll be responsible for providing the successful delivery of a wide range of projects across the site, including monitoring and implementing process improvements, capital projects, optimisation of our manufacturing systems and improving our environmental sustainability.
You'll enjoy a sense of autonomy and ownership that will result in a real sense of satisfaction. You will also work with the site management team and manage the laboratory team to achieve the site's quality and environmental targets.
About You Our ideal candidate will have several years' experience within industrial or consultancy engineering.
You will be hands-on, flexible, have a thorough approach and a self-driven attitude. You'll need to be able to communicate effectively with people on all levels, have excellent attention to detail and be stimulated by the prospect of a highly varied and autonomous role. You will thrive working in a collaborative environment, as you will have the support of other experienced staff across all work sites.
