About the role We are looking for a Senior or Principal level planner to join our Dunedin office. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who wants to carve out their own niche in a supportive and flexible work environment, working with members of our busy South Island planning team, and our South Island Planning Manager who is based in our Queenstown office. The role would suit someone with the following skills and attributes:
Extensive experience with the Resource Management Act, in resource consenting and/or policy makingHold or eligible for Full NZPI membershipAbility to work autonomously and collaboratively with members of our talented teamAn established professional network and the ability to form strong and effective relationships with colleagues and clientsA background in planning consultancy and/or local government would be desirableThe ability to travel around Otago and Southland, and elsewhere around the South Island from time to timeThe ability to lead and mentor more junior members of staff.
