You'll provide expert planning advice to our customers, liaise with experts, and provide recommendations on notified and non-notified applications (including land use, subdivision, and notices of requirement). You will be managing complex applications, providing pre-app advice, attending hearings, and taking appeals to the Environment Court. As a Senior Planner you'll also be responsible for making robust decisions on resource consent applications and will act as a mentor to less experienced planners, with coaching being a core component of the role.
