Your role The primary purpose of this position to support the Lead People Partner in the execution of global and regional people strategies, for New Zealand. This is an enabling role for the execution of the strategic people plan with the goal of helping to create a consistent colleague experience across the region.  Your responsibilities Stakeholder Management  Develop trusted relationships with leaders and colleagues across your area of responsibility. Create a cohesive and effective partnership with aligned People functional leaders and centre of excellence (COE) teams to ensure excellent service delivery for colleagues. Balance best practice with commercial acumen to provide guidance and support to the business on strategic people/talent-related matters. Maintain awareness of the talent pipeline for key roles and support culture change and engagement initiatives. Contribute toward the development and subsequent delivery of the regional strategic plan as a component of the overall New Zealand business plan. Translate the regional strategic business plan into measured branch deliverables and communicate accordingly. Act as a key advisor to senior leaders and their respective teams. Partner to maintain an effective and proficient organisational design, constantly innovating in line with local market changes (talent supply, client expectations and & regulatory requirements). Project Management  Develop a broad understanding of all People solutions and responsible for execution of people initiatives aligned with the business, including, but not strictly limited to: Leadership capabilities development Performance & Reward Management Talent Review / Retention & Strategic Resource planning Engagement Analysis and Planning Large scale organisation transformation & M&A integration activities Champion Inclusion & Diversity agenda Colleague Wellness Accountable for supporting/delivering organisation transformation initiatives Collaborate With Centres of Excellence Act as a champion for the comprehensive suite of people solutions and collaborate with key points of contact within COEs to define requirements & provide feedback. Support the delivery of talent, culture, change and leadership development programs. Participate in senior leadership/executive level role recruiting for the region comprising key regional and/or country leadership roles. Provide feedback about effectiveness of policies, programs, and processes. Collaborate With People Operations & Service Delivery  Partnering with Service Delivery team to deliver appropriate business outcomes. Act as a champion to advocate consistent operational efficiency.
