MHM's product range allows Fortifi to expand into materials handling and packaging solutions, with state-of-the-art capabilities in robotics and automation, as well as chilling and freezing, which can be applied across various sectors.The Role:We are on the hunt for an experienced and motivated Senior People & Culture Advisor to join our tight-knit People and Culture team. Due to our Head of People and Culture going on maternity leave, we have a rare opportunity for an experienced HR professional to come on board for 3 to 4 days a week, for a 6-month fixed term. Based out of our Head office in Christchurch, and reporting directly to the Chief Executive Officer, you will be responsible for supporting the business across all its People & Culture processes and initiatives. You will hit the ground running with your generalist HR experience and will work closely with the People and Culture team, the entire Senior Leadership Team, as well as all leaders within the wider business.The Senior People and Culture Advisor will provide support and advice to the team and managers in all areas of the business. Your duties will include:Managing two direct reportsDay to day employment relations problemsCreating and updating policies and proceduresSupporting the roll out of initiatives and eventsAssisting with the recruitment process and providing guidanceFacilitating and booking training for staffAbout You:Hold an appropriate tertiary level qualification in Business, Commerce, Human Resource Management or similarPrevious experience in a generalist HR roleBe an expert communicator, verbal and writtenHigh EQ and interpersonal skillsComfortable building and maintaining strong relationships with the SLT, Managers, Employees, and any external vendorsHigh level of accuracy and attention to detailBe a pragmatic problem solver focused on finding solutionsWhat We Offer:A competitive remunerationAn opportunity to grow your careerA great team environmentThe opportunity to be part of a very progressive, growing and successful organisationMHM Automation has 5 product centres of excellence across Australia and New Zealand.
