We are seeking a meticulous and experienced Senior Payroll Specialist to join our dynamic team. The Senior Payroll Specialist will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of payroll processing, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and efficiency. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in payroll administration, attention to detail, and excellent communication skills. The Payroll Specialist at Skills Group plays a crucial role in ensuring the accurate and timely processing of payroll for all employees. This position requires meticulous attention to detail, strong analytical skills, and a deep understanding of payroll processes and regulations. Main responsibilities and tasks include: Processing payroll for all employees, including calculating wages, overtime, deductions, and bonuses Ensuring compliance with local, state, and federal payroll regulations Managing employee data in the payroll system and making necessary updates Responding to employee inquiries regarding pay-related issues Preparing reports for management related to payroll costs, trends, and variances Collaborating with HR to ensure accurate employee records and seamless integration between HR and payroll systems Assisting with year-end processes such as W-2 preparation and reporting Maintaining confidentiality of all payroll information and adhering to data protection regulations Staying up-to-date with changes in payroll laws and best practices The ideal candidate for this position possesses strong mathematical skills, the ability to work efficiently under tight deadlines, a commitment to accuracy, and excellent communication skills. A high level of integrity is also essential due to the sensitive nature of payroll information.
