Strong connections to and credibility within the arts sector are a must, as well as an understanding of who we are, the mahi we do and the challenges we face.You will be a strategic thinker, with good judgment and political nous, and an understanding of and respect for Tikanga Maori, along with an understanding of the principles and practice of Te Tiriti o Waitangi, and the implications of this for CNZ's work. A broad understanding of diverse cultures and other ways of working is important, along with possessing the skillset to apply a multi-lensed approach to your mahi. A key part of our Senior Leadership team, you will have the ability to make a contribution in a collective decision-making context. Your excellent stakeholder management skills will assist you in building and developing mutually beneficial partnerships and you will be able to work effectively across cultures and functions.
