Senior/Lead Mechanical Engineer

Seasoned Building Services operator requiredGreat opportunity to build and run your own team Small to medium sized building services consulting firms are making a real play in the New Zealand market as some of the bigger firms struggle - this one already has a strong forward workload and require an experienced Senior Mechanical Engineer or Associate to be the lead person in Wellington. They are currently working on a range of local projects to get things going for you but the need for a savvy and well regarded Senior Mechanical Engineer (yeah, thats you!) is needed.

You will be involved in many facets of a senior consulting role; managing clients and business development, managing projects from concept to completion, coordinating those projects with internal staff across NZ/offshore, growing the team/mentoring/training, etc in time.......you get the picture.

As the successful candidate you will have:
At least 8 years experience working as a Mechanical Design Engineer in a building services consultancy environment within WellingtonExperience designing HVAC systems for various commercial, labs, educational, retail, warehouse, residential and hotel developmentsCPEng or MCIBSE (or in the process of obtaining)Proficiency in various software including Carrier and Revit MEP experienceExcellent time management and teamwork skillsExcellent English communication skills - written and verbalA solid reputation with the Wellington/Lower North Island marketThere are some exciting projects to get involved in immediately and play your part in delivering these, but the ability to bring in further projects will be the true test of your skills and experience.
