Senior Kitchen Opportunities

Our Scenic Hotel Dunedin City property is getting ready to re-open its doors, and we are looking for both a Sous Chef and Chef de Partie to join the team. This is an exciting opportunity, one that will provide the successful candidate the chance to help shape the food & beverage offering. The property will also be undergoing a staged refurbishment, so we are looking for experienced Chefs who can bring fresh and innovative ideas to the table to match the new look.

The successful candidates will need to be a confident individuals who are flexible and able to work well under pressure. All applicants must exhibit a passion and flair for food as well as a commitment to exceptional customer service.

The ideal candidate will:

demonstrate excellent time management skills and an eye for detail
proven ability in a hotel environment, including an ability to innovate
have completed a 2 or 3-year on-the-job apprenticeship, including study towards an NZ Certificate in Hospitality or NZ Certificate in Cookery
have at least 3 years experience in a similar role
