As a Senior Inventory Specialist, you will be at the heart of our operations. Your primary responsibility will be to manage the day-to-day logistics, ensuring smooth inwards and outwards goods flow. You will also oversee our chemical inventory system, ensuring that all chemical purchasing, handling, storage, distribution, and shipping are accurately documented and meet or exceed legislative requirements. Your excellent communication skills will enable you to build strong relationships with both internal resources and external suppliers. Your commitment to health & safety will be paramount as you lead hazardous substances activities. Provide day-to-day leadership and direction to the logistics teamEnsure the effective delivery of hazardous substances activities, prioritising health & safetyBuild and maintain strong relationships with key internal stakeholders and external suppliersLead the decanting and disposal of surplus substancesMaintain ownership of the chemical inventory system and its end-to-end processesParticipate in all health & safety initiatives, emergency management, and business continuity activities
