This is mahi that will improve the health and well-being of everyone in Aotearoa, and we've got an opportunity for you to be part of it…Te whiwhinga mahi | The OpportunityThe Senior Intelligence Analyst is responsible for providing strategic, operational and tactical intelligence advice within the emergency management function. They comprehensively utilise and analyse a wide range of intelligence resource to support decision making, planning and response efforts, consistently contributing to the development of local and national intelligence analysis capability through exemplary practice, intelligence training and assessment.Minimum 7 years' experience in a senior intelligence role.Demonstrated experience successfully working in high pressure, high trust environments, where high-quality outputs are required regularly within a short timeframe.Demonstrated ability to critically examine information and data, recognise patterns, trends, anticipate potential risks, and leverage this insight to create practical intelligence outputs that inform decision-making.Experience producing strategic, and operational intelligence products within a government agency to inform decision making.Demonstrated ability to strategically advocate and promote the Intelligence function to various stakeholders within the organisation.Demonstrated ability to build and maintain meaningful, collaborative and high trust relationships with stakeholders - including with hapu and iwi leaders - to achieve mutually beneficial Intelligence outcomes.Advanced experience using structured analytical techniques and tools, including software solutions such as Microsoft Suite, SQL and ARCGIS.A commitment to being a good Te Tiriti partner in all your actions.
