Senior House Officer In Paediatrics

Available now, a full time senior house officer post in paediatrics suitable for a physician who is at the level of PGY3 or above for a 12 month contract. Based in a 300 bed general hospital providing acute and elective care with 24/7 emergency department and intensive care.

You will join a team of paediatricians, registrars and house officers providing emergency and routine paediatric services with excellent clinical learning opportunities, on site medical education and an enviable lifestyle with great homes, superb schools, a burgeoning economy, and no traffic headaches.

Key Tasks: You will work under the supervision of senior medical officers (SMOs) and be responsible for the assessment and management of patients presenting to the paediatric department including arrangement of investigations as appropriateYou shall attend clinical meetings including Case Presentations, Grand Round and Medical Audit Meeting and will be expected to contribute or present to these meetings as requested by their SMO.You will be expected to supervise and train house officers
