Emerge Aotearoa is excited to announce a new opportunity for a Senior Financial Analyst - Housing .This senior leadership role offers a unique chance to shape its direction and impact the future of social and affordable housing in New Zealand.As a Senior Financial Analyst reporting to Group Chief Financial Officer, you will be responsible for developing and delivering financial insights, analysis, recommendations that support Emerge Aotearoa Housing Trust's (EAHT) overall strategic objective of delivering more social and affordable housing properties.This pivotal role requires effective engagement with senior leaders to ensure strategic alignment with financial operations and outcomes. With a strong background in financial planning and modelling, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining a long-term financial plan for our property portfolio as well as an asset management strategy.You will collaborate closely with Group Executives, and senior leaders, transforming trusted financial reporting into actionable advice.Your commitment to our values reflects in everything you do. With your expertise in strategic financial planning and relationship management, you are ready to drive change and deliver results. Your skills include:A robust background in strategic finance with an emphasis on modelling short- and long-term growth, assumption sensitivities and risk assessments.A proven track record in business advisory roles, enhancing organisational efficiencies and financial analysis to support effective decision making.Deep financial understanding specific to property management and property investment.Professional credentials through a recognized professional accounting body - Qualified CA, CPA or CIMA and/ or have significant experience ( 10+ years ) in this fieldAn unequivocal commitment to respecting the rights and supporting those in need, specifically Maori, Pacific peoples, and those with Lived ExperienceA genuine commitment to our values, our Kaupapa and Te Tiriti o WaitangiExcellent listening, verbal, and written communication skillsExperience working in the public, not-for-profit or social service sector (preferred)Knowledge of Te Reo and /or Maori tikanga (preferred)Join a dynamic team under the leadership of our passionate Group CFO and be at the forefront of an impactful housing sector.
