Full job description Permanent Senior Finance Business Partner job opportunity in Wellington CBD Your new company You'll be joining a large, well-reputed government organisation head-quartered in Wellington CBD. In this business critical, Senior Finance Business Partner position you'll join a team who are responsible for ensuring the fiscal sustainability, providing access to high-quality financial information and strategic advice, and enhancing financial literacy across key areas of the business. Your new role As the Senior Finance Business Partner, you will deliver trusted, robust, and insightful financial advice to support the Senior Leadership team in achieving their strategic objectives. Beyond mere numbers, your guidance will inform and influence sound financial decision-making within a dynamic, diverse, and challenging environment. Responsibilities include delivering timely, accurate financial information, identifying and escalating issues, linking financial and non-financial data, guiding portfolio decisions, developing resource strategies, and contributing to effective delivery of outputs. Additionally, support is provided for Official Information Act (OIA) requests and other relevant matters. What you'll need to succeed This role demands flexibility, resilience, emotional intelligence, and effective collaboration with senior stakeholders.
