You will be the heart of our office and a key member of our Leadership Team. To be successful in this role you will be a strong communicator, an outstanding team player, organised and process-driven.Role and ResponsibilitiesAccounts and FinanceResponsible for all day-to-day accounting and finance tasks, including:Maintain the integrity of the General Ledger, in Xero.Cash monitoring and management.Process Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable.Prepare month-end close.Complete and file GST/PAYE/FBT/RWT returns.HRProcess payroll weekly, in MYOB IMS.Support the team recruitment and induction process.Support training initiatives to develop and empower our team.Support employment matters, as required.Office supportCo-ordinate a variety of activities to support operations.Communicate with others inside and outside the organisation.Health and safety administration.Team administrative assistant, where needed.If you are eager to learn and keen to grow your knowledge, this role can be broadened to include involvement and responsibility in projects.Qualifications and ExperienceIdeally you will have:Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to motivate and collaborate with a diverse team.Enthusiasm to support the team create success every day.Discretion and the ability to handle confidential information with utmost sensitivity.A high level of accuracy and attention to detail.A desire to improve processes and systems.You will have experience of:At least 3 years' in an accounts role, which includes, handling of accounts payable and month-end processing.At least 1 year in payroll processing, but not essential.Using accounting and payroll systems.PC literacy and Microsoft Office skills.You will be:Professional, personable and positive.Proactive with a solution-oriented mind-set.Focus on deliverables and deadlines.You MUST have NZ residency or a valid work visa to apply for this role.Flexible team environment.In-house and external training and professional development.On-job training will be provided.Industry competitive remunerationTo request a copy of the job description or to arrange a confidential chat, please contact ****** .
