The Company:
This main contractor has a stable workload for the foreseeable future. They are on the lookout for an Estimator at senior level who has both strong estimation skills and quantity surveying skills but has a level of flexibility to switch between the two as and when required. Generally, projects are between $10M - $50M and are a broad mix of commercial and government work. They are a family orientated contractor who have experienced Directors with strong long term client relationships and that are well connected to developers and investors.
Typically your duties will involve: Estimating and pricing including preparing tenders, reviewing of documents and sending out sub-contractor invitations. Preparing cost plans, competitive tenders, design and build Liaising with clients and architects Variations and sub-contractor negotiations Financial reporting & cost monitoring / projections Preparation, submission and negotiation of Interim and Final accounts The Company:
