Senior Estimator/Quantity Surveyor

The Company:This main contractor has a stable workload for the foreseeable future. They are on the lookout for an Estimator at senior level who has both strong estimation skills and quantity surveying skills but has a level of flexibility to switch between the two as and when required. Generally, projects are between $10M - $50M and are a broad mix of commercial and government work. They are a family orientated contractor who have experienced Directors with strong long term client relationships and that are well connected to developers and investors.Typically your duties will involve:Estimating and pricing including preparing tenders, reviewing of documents and sending out sub-contractor invitations.Preparing cost plans, competitive tenders, design and buildLiaising with clients and architectsVariations and sub-contractor negotiationsFinancial reporting & cost monitoring / projectionsPreparation, submission and negotiation of Interim and Final accountsThe Company:This main contractor has a stable workload for the foreseeable future.
