As our senior estimator, you will work with and report directly to the Director of the company. You will be responsible for estimating all new projects generated by our marketing activities. Some of the key objectives of the role include:
Analyze drawings and specifications
Understand contractual terms and conditions
Assemble accurate and well organized estimates and proposals in a timely manner for both commercial and residential projects
Provide clear detailed quantity take offs
Organize sub-contractors quotations, negotiate to insure quotes meet contract documents and issue documented contracts where required
Complete Budgeting and Scheduling for projects, monitor progress and identify any potential risks
Maintain relationships with sub-contractors and clients
Provide and maintain unit pricing and database for material and labour costing
Formulate cost break down from estimates for project progress reports
Meet with potential clients to discuss options for proposed services
Required Experience, Skills and Qualifications

The main focus is a strategic and aggressive expansion of market share in Sydney. A Construction Estimating Manager who thrives on both exceeding their targets and high levels of accuracy. You should be driven, eager to grow both professionally and as part of the team. The key skills required for this role include:
A excellent understanding of the onsite construction process
Previous experience estimating both commercial and residential projects
Experience with estimating software and spread sheet design
Ability to use CAD programs
Exceptional communication skills
Minimum of 5 years experience working in the construction field in similar or related position
Graduate from recognized engineering, architectural or construction management program is an asset
