We have a full-time, permanent role available for a Senior Engineer to join the Roads team in Tauranga. First and foremost, you will assist fellow engineers and designers in the delivery of highways projects. In doing so you will work closely with other civil disciplines, providing digital and innovative solutions to our clients. There will be an opportunity to work on some of the most exciting projects in New Zealand.
Here are the key things you will do to 'bring ideas to life':
• Deliver design documentation including drawings, specifications and reports in accordance to client standards
• Analyse technical designs and assist in delivering solutions to problems
• Assist in the engineering aspects of projects from concept through to detailed design
• Work in a team environment and interface with the wider team
What can you bring to the team?
Your passion to deliver quality outcomes to projects should be a key driver, with the desire to continue to learn. You should hold a civil engineering degree, spending at least five years in the industry.
You will need to possess:
• The desire to work towards Chartered Engineer status
• Experience in delivering highway elements within the delivery of projects
• An understanding of local NZ standards
• An understanding of the elements required to deliver a highways project
• The ability to work well within a team environment and be comfortable communicating with clients, contractors and the wider team
