Here's a peek at what we're looking for you to do:Design, develop and validate embedded firmware for various microcontrollers and processors.Design the software architecture for our future systems, with a focus on modern tools.System design to include the full spectrum of control systems, user interfaces as well as wireless and mobile connectivity.Build core software practices and workflows, such as test-driven development, version control systems, code reviews, etc.Analyse product requirements, specifications, and performance standards to determine feasibility of design within time and cost constraints.Keep abreast of latest industry trends and technologies related to embedded systems design and development. Here's a peek at what we're looking for you to do:Design, develop and validate embedded firmware for various microcontrollers and processors.Design the software architecture for our future systems, with a focus on modern tools.System design to include the full spectrum of control systems, user interfaces as well as wireless and mobile connectivity.Build core software practices and workflows, such as test-driven development, version control systems, code reviews, etc.Analyse product requirements, specifications, and performance standards to determine feasibility of design within time and cost constraints.Provide accurate time estimations for development.Keep abreast of latest industry trends and technologies related to embedded systems design and development.RequirementsExcellent written and verbal communication skills, coupled with the ability to convey technical information to a non-technical audience.At least five years of experience in embedded firmware programming with a strong focus on C/C++ for embedded systems.Solid understanding of microcontroller architecture and low-level firmware development.Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to debug complex issues in embedded systems.Ability to prioritise tasks and work efficiently in a fast-paced startup environment.Bonus points if you love the marine space, EVs, and/or the ocean!As we are a tech company, we do encourage the use of new technologies.
