Jump into a position as a Senior Developer at MPI, where you'll take the lead on software applications that support our border and primary industries. This senior-level role calls for your expertise in .NET solutions, supporting their development and aligning with our strategic objectives and public service commitments.\
Spearhead the development of large technology applications in a government contextThrive in a dynamic team environment, fostering collaboration and supportMake a significant impact with projects that influence national servicesAs a Senior Developer, you bring expertise in cutting-edge development technologies. You have comprehensive understanding across the full stack: from front-end development to microservices to the database. You can design software and write documentation, ensuring alignment with industry and organizational standards, all while embedding security at the core of development.
Skilled in application support, with familiarity of various systems, processes, and standardsTeam player, knowing how to collaborate effectively within and between teamsAnalytical ability to assess technical challenges and make decisionsBachelor's degree in computer science, or related field, with 7+ years of developer experienceJoin an experienced team of developers committed to software development within the public sector, supporting and enhancing New Zealand's systems protecting our borders and primary industry. You'll also work within a cross functional team including expert business and technical people who will challenge and support you to do your best work.
