About The Role
Join the Emerging Technologies team who are pushing boundaries and expanding the use of Jamie the intelligent virtual assistant. We are seeking two Senior Developers with proven experience in software development and a proactive and driven attitude, to join our Emerging Technologies team in Auckland. Your style will be described as collaborative and you'll be known for your excellent ability to communicate with others.
In this role you will have the opportunity to:
Design, construct and support software applications to a high level for on-going maintainability and availability which enables Business and Technology goals.
Enable the bank to maintain, develop and enhance functionality of various mobile apps.
Understand architectural platform design issues and trends and guide Technology management, team members and business representatives accordingly.
Work on varied projects and cutting edge technologies.

About You
To grow and be successful in this role, you will ideally bring the following:
To be successful in this role it is essential you have an interest in, and passion for, micro services design, architecture and development.
Excellent commercial software design and development experience.
Familiar with platforms such as Google Cloud, Amazon, AWS, EC2 and Firebase.
Proven experience and a background in continuous integration and continuous delivery technologies.
Experience in RESTful Web Services/API Design.
Experience with design patterns TDD and also, unit testing discipline.
Excellent communication, written, and presentation skills.
