We are looking for an exceptional Senior Database and Integration Developer to join our Digital Portfolio team reporting to the Head of Portfolio Delivery. Working alongside our Senior BI Developer and Data Business Analyst, this role will be responsible for helping to build our hyper-connected future by subscribing and contributing to data and services through the use of API's to support business and scientific reporting, BI and analytics. The purpose of the role is about being able to integrate data from a variety of sources into our data stores in a way that maintains its provenance and enables Callaghan Innovation to be data led.
A key focus will be maintaining and enhancing Callaghan Innovation data architecture and the wider data ecosystem through the use of API's while working to understand the business needs and aligning these with the core elements of the Digital Strategy. It's really important that you are able to listen to what users are asking for and then simplify down these requests so that the end data is simple to use and can be traced back to its origins.
Ideally five or more years experience in a similar role
Proven experience managing and maintaining data platforms
Experience working with both SQL and non-SQL data
Diverse stakeholder relationship management
