About the Role

Be a part of a dynamic team, responsible for transforming cyber security; ensuring security systems are deployed, maintained & innovated within a fast-paced critical infrastructure environment.
You’ll provide technical leadership & mentoring within the cyber security team enabling our security engineers to grow & facilitate prioritised outcomes for Vector. Work closely with the security operations centre (SOC) during incident management & be responsible for building & maintaining operational relationships with key internal & external stakeholders.
You’ll be responsible for all technical ownership of cloud, web & firewall security platforms. You’re tasked with remediating all vulnerabilities & exposures discovered during any security tests. Help drive change governance processes, annual reviews, security tests & collaborate with various teams to implement resolutions.
Who are we looking for
This role requires a deeply technical & hands-on individual who can flex on multiple levels. You’re an EXPERT in Akamai, Check Point & AWS. You’re highly experienced with firewalls (functionality & maintenance), Web & Email Security, Endpoint Security & SIEM & Proficient in Python, C++, Java, Ruby, and/or Power Shell. You will be partnering with major security vendors, bring with you your ability to build, maintain and invest in relationships with internal & external partners.
